THE LIGHT

Becky is the founder of The Light, a production company built on the belief that the way we work impacts the work we make.

The Light’s approach shapes the culture on set, creating the conditions that unlock creative excellence. With a deep commitment to inclusion, crew care and operational precision, they deliver production experiences that elevate creative visions and exceed expectations.

Here are some behind-the-scenes moments from The Light’s sets.

SETTING THE TONE

The safety meeting isn’t just about logistics; it’s a chance to connect. In this video, crew, agency, and clients reflect on their connection to the topic and how the project impacted them.

FEEDBACK MATTERS

Ongoing growth is central to The Light’s process. Crew members provide feedback at lunch and through post-shoot surveys, helping us enhance the production experience for everyone.

I SEE YOU

A simple practice with a big impact. Each person receives the name of someone to observe throughout the day, then writes an anonymous note recognizing their contribution. In this video, two PAs and craft service read their notes aloud.

SAFE SETS

Becky is also a producer of the feature documentary, Safe Sets: Dying to Work in the Film Industry which sheds a light on the systemic issues that face people working behind the scenes in Hollywood —sleep deprivation, addiction, dangerous stunts, and a culture that too often prioritizes the final product over the well-being of its workers.

Through candid interviews with crew members, union reps, and actors like Jon Hamm and John Malkovich, it exposes the reality of working behind the scenes and the urgent need for change.
